Climate Change: What it is and How we are Involved

By: Habiba Tamer

Everyone isn’t enjoying the weather lately and many people are asking why it’s so hot out there, even the ones at the north coast are asking why the hell are the waves so high. The answer is summed up in only a few words “climate change”.

What is climate change simplified?

Climate change means the difference in the Earth’s global climate or in regional climate over time. Climate change melts the ice. It describes changes in the state of the atmosphere overtime scales ranging from decades to millions of years.

Anthropogenic Climate Change is caused by human activity, as opposed to changes in climate that may have resulted as part of Earth’s natural processes. In this sense, especially in the context of environmental policy, the term climate change has become synonymous with anthropogenic global warming.

Climate change affects us all, as the climate warms, it changes the nature of global rainfall, evaporation, snow, stream flow and other factors that affect water supply and quality. Specific impact include warmer water temperature that affect water quality and accelerate water pollution.

As climate change affects us badly and the whole environment around us we should worry. We should stop throwing plastic, we should stop using it, and we should stop burning trees and forests. Climate change is also a result in unprecedented extreme weather and climate events.

In addition to the warming of the planet, human behaviors such as pollution and exploitation of land use are contributing to the loss of biodiversity.

What you have to know is that human activity is the main reason of climate change so be careful, your activity and movements can change a whole climate.

In conclusion, be aware and spread awareness. Hope for a good, clean and safe life, help to clean up the environment so all of us can have a nice and safe life.
